Sun. I took this photo of the crowd at Obama’s appearance at Colorado State University on Sunday, October 26th, 2008. A copy of it sits on a shelf in our living room, a reminder of that beautiful fall day. My friends and I stood in line for hours, weaving our way through campus and chanting “Yes We Can” at nearly every turn. It was just nine days before the 2008 election, and the feeling was so hopeful, so something-good-is-on-the-horizon.
